Heh, I think for each blog, i will call the title something that was said that i felt was interesting or funny. This quote was said by Arthur today when he was joking about us being gone for so long during the break. Funny guy, and he teaches really well. i was able to understand difficult material for the most part. Why couldnt high school teachers do that? Plus, he enjoys Lost, and i bond very well with anyone who watches Lost.
I decided to write another blog today because i'm running out of time. I'm going to be missing out on Friday of this week so that puts me one blog behind. but besides that, it was like like the other days we had at UCSF. Meeting at 9, listened to a lecture until 1:30pm. Thank god i had that bagel from the cafe or else i would have dropped dead from being so hungry. I was already hungry when the lecture ended, imagine me without breakfast (which i forgot at home b/c i had to go out to catch the bus) I would say that i am able to get all the information from the lectures pretty well. I remember having to sit through lectures last summer and i would always get really sleepy. This time around, i havnt really been sleepy for the most part. Tired, but not as sleepy as i use to be. Lets hope this is able to keep up until after i finish those soon-to-be-coming college lectures.
Random stuff:
- Amazed by how many machines UCSF has to do the different things needed in the lab. It makes mini-preps so much faster
- We got our own sets of micropipettes! AWESOMEEEE
- Looked at cells from the Dicty plates. they look just like mamanlian cells. Brings back the memories from the City College class.
This wasnt much of a blog, but covers some of the highlights of the day. Its getting late, and i still have to read the paper for the JC. Gotta do that now!
